About Us

ISISBroker has been helping clients to build web based businesses since 1996. We do provide enabling software technology, however our strength is in really understanding what it takes to deliver a successful online insurance business. This 'know how' and intellectual property sets ISISbroker apart from any competition.

Not intended as an arrogant statement, just that we have a proven track record of doing it time and time again and this more than anything else is what we think counts when you come to choose a partner.

ISISBroker is a privately owned independent company. The management of the business is in the hands of a team with over 60 years experience in insurance software solutions for both the general and life industry. The management team combines seasoned insurance industry experience and innovative but commercially sound technologists.

ISISbroker people are passionate about what they do and it is a testament to our comittment to exceed expectations, that many new customers come from referrals. It is our aim always to develop long term partnerships and to work with like minded businesses, big or small.

Meet the Management Team

Fred Pritchard - Founder Director

Fred has worked within the technology sector all of his adult life, after successful careers with NCR and Honeywell he founded Fame Computers in 1982. Fame Computers pioneered the use of technology within the UK life insurance industry, including the first use of EDI. Fred built the business from a self-funded start-up, to a business with annual turnover of £13M making a profit of £3m and employing 190 full time staff, with most of the UK's major insurers as customers.

Simon Pritchard - Founder Director

Founded ISIS Technology in 1996 after a long career in computer software development. His main focus was in application development for the insurance industry. Providing tools for the early adopters of technology at the point of sale for direct selling of life and pensions products. Simon was very quick to identify the opportunity around the internet and web based technology. He was also responsible for leading the team which developed barbox.com for Bass Brewers (now Coors), one of the most successful business to business web implementations in the UK today. The number one website within the hospitality sector, taking over £7M per week in online orders.

Phil Grainger - Technical Director

Is a very experienced senior manager who brings a wealth of experience from a very successful career in GI software spanning the last 30 years. Previously with TAM and lately with Insurecom Phil has an in-depth knowledge of front and back office broker applications.

Richard Green - Head Of Development

Was with the Express Insurance Group for 9 years prior to joining ISIS. Express were early adopters of the ISISbroker online trading platform and Richard was responsible for their online channels from a technical perspective. Although he is an extraordinary technologist, he has a very detailed knowledge of insurance products and the broker business.

Peter Knight - Head Of UI & Design

Peter is responsible for how ISIS solutions look and feel. Usability is critical and often underestimated or misunderstood. Peters skill is in constructing user interfaces that make collecting what can be large amounts of data, as painless and intuitive as possible. He is also a very talented creative designer and very experienced with all the key web technologies.

Sir Richard Heygate - Non Exec Director

Sir Richard Heygate is admired for the roles he played at IBM and at McKinsey for nearly 20 years as a senior partner, he was part of the team which created the world's first on-line ATM. Recently Richard has established the London office of Oneida Associes (www.oneida-associes.com), which is the leading pan-European firm which helps companies manage the all important social implications of restructuring. Oneida works for global corporations and private equity.

Yes, it may be clichéd term, but it is genuinely our preferred modus operandi. Where possible we prefer to have a vested interest in all of our projects, over and above a customer/software supplier . That's why many customers choose our success based pricing model.

This option allows for a much smaller capital outlay, on the basis that ISISbroker are able to benefit in a small way from the upsides, when your project is successful. As well as providing a lower cost of entry, we find customers prefer this approach, because we can participate in the venture on a commercial basis, as well as providing the enabling technology.

Although our commitment to you as a customer will never waiver, this partnership allows ISISbroker to get a return for the contribution we will make over and above supplying you with a software solution.
