Markel has selected digital platform and distribution solutions provider IS2 to re-platform the policy administration system for Caunce O’Hara, one of the insurer’s direct-to-customer brands.Moving to IS2’s Atlas platform will support Markel’s plans for the brand in the UK, including enhancing the online customer journey, improving the renewal process for existing schemes and consolidating products to make it easier for customers to navigate. 

Atlas will provide API rating and fulfilment, which will allow the brand to distribute through multiple sales channels.Caunce O’Hara & Co Ltd was acquired by Markel in 2019 and through its Direct business has been providing insurance to freelancers, contractors and small business owners for more than 25 years.
